Side hustle ideas aren’t just about making extra money but will protect you from the coming jobs-pocalypse and keep you from living paycheck-to-paycheck.

The most common question I get about business ideas and side gigs is where to start, how to find that perfect side hustle strategy you can use to turn five hours a week into a few hundred dollars. I’ve taken all the income sources I know and narrowed them down to my favorite ten.

I’ve used six of these side hustle ideas and make money every month from at least four. In fact, I made over $7,200 in March with $600 in one single day. Your monthly income is going to fluctuate a little but put together a few of these side hustle ideas and you’ll produce a solid income you can count on.

I tried to keep out the traditional jobs from the list, all the side jobs you see on Craigslist. Everyone knows how to make money cleaning someone’s house, but do you really want to get pruny fingers 10 hours a week?

For this list of side hustle ideas, I kept it to the income sources you might not have thought of, the ones that have worked for me and the ones that make money fast.

I’ll include how to get started and how much you can expect to make with each side income strategy. I’m also going to reveal three secrets to side hustle success, three critical keys to making money, at the end of the video.

Here’s that playlist link to my favorite passive income source, self-publishing. Of the 10 side gigs in the video, this one should be at the top of everyone’s list.

Notaries don't make much money. You can only make what your state says. The loan signing side has become oversaturated & takes a lot of money to run. You have to have a laser printer & go through A LOT of paper, toner, gas, etc. Do your research before starting.

videowatcher495 says:

In my state, notaries can not charge more than (I think) $25, possibly less. Sometimes you end up burning that much in gas just going to and from a document being signed depending on traffic and distance.

thanks! I have been learning how to do new things in preparation for retirement (I want to retire early. my job has me at 100 hours a week! so tired!) I have learned to make furniture (including fireplace tv stands with barn doors, living room tables, desks, side tables, outdoor benches, bar carts, along with design plans, etc. I also learned how to paint, design gardens, remodel including drywall, etc. I have sold paintings, garden plans, and furniture, with several asks for remodeling projects, so it looks like it will all work out. I don't know what else I can do, but I do know that this current job will kill me, lol. time to go, and I have been working since 5 years old (I created my own jobs till I could get a "real" one). I want to have fun now, and time for my family!

Sure then there's that million you got lying around so you can make $2K a month in dividends. Speaking of dividends… never seen a full portfolio's holdings list direct off an investors.web bank site showing those monthly dividends anointing to 2000 a month… I bet its only possible if you have that cool mill…or half million…

Every accountant should consider a side job of providing accounting support for small businesses or nonprofits. A neighborhood dentist or a local charity could use an accountant a few hours a month to do bank reconciliations, monthly and annual statements, budgets, prepare tax returns and even support audits. Best yet, it can be steady work for years without the need to find new clients.
